Standard Operating Procedures

Operator leaves greasing machinery in operative position, unreels grease and oil hose.
Puts engine or electric motor in an in-operative condition.
Looks over unit to spot leaky seals, decides on proper lubricant, unless previously instructed
All pop off valves removed and discarded.
New grease or oil is forced by power driven machinery through bearings until new grease or oil appears in pop off opening, then new pop off valve and plug inserted and unit left in operating position.
Inspects gear box lubricant and makes determination of condition, replaces with new AGMA #6 oil if necesary.
Report filled out on entire unit.
